I spent some time on my flight reading through a couple of articles about my topic. I really enjoyed the process, although I’m also eager for feedback because I’m not entirely sure I did it correctly. I followed the outline that Marty did in class and I made some lists of ideas from the two articles, and I also did some brainstorming of ideas and questions I had. Finally, I did a brief overview of the idea with regard to phenomenology.

I’m definitley the type of person who forgets everything they read, but if I did something like this more often I think not only would I get more out of the actual reading (I’m also the type of person who memorizes by writing about the topic) but it would be much easier for me to go back and remember the information well after the fact.
