For the final paper, we are supposed to have an idea by Tuesday’s (11/6) class. So do we need to submit a formal proposal or just send an email to Jeff to broadly talk about our idea?
“……students explicate 1-3 digital interaction experiences using one or more of the strategies discussed during the semester” (This quote is from our syllabus) Does it mean that we write the paper based on our own experiences only? or we have to include other people’s experiences and also do literature review based on former studies on this digital interaction experience?

Please communicate with me informally via email or in-person.
As for the assignment, I want you to use some (NOT all) of the theory from class to talk about a particular phenomenon (just like in the prewriting exercise). The phenomenon can be one you experienced, but I do expect that you will engage with ways others have engaged or might engage with that particular example. I hope there will be some literature review; otherwise, how will you know you are reinventing someone else’s work, or completely off-target? That said, you don’t need 70 references for your paper, either!

thank you very much, Jeff.
It is those things which will make the paper up to 8-10 pages. 😀
